What did you like about your experience?
In one word, EVERYTHING!
From the moment we turned off the main road in Gordes and pulled up to the entrance gates of the property and then greeted by Kaye and Aries, it was just as we imagined. Only Provence was exceptional in their correspondence as well as informative about the area, attractions and additional services.
Areas for improvement:
There was little to improve on. The villa itself is large and rambling with multiple common living areas and well separated sleeping areas. It has a wonderful homey feeling which really allows its guests to sit back, relax, and take in all,of what Provence has to offer. Lazy days drinking wine and being with friends. From my personal perspective and not necessarily the group, the only thing would be that the kitchen pantry and associated items be better organized. I understand storage is limited within the kitchen of the property, but it could be better organized. It seems we spent a lot of time asking each other if they had come across certain items required for cooking etc. We made do, and it really had no impact on how we enjoyed our experience.
I would absolutely recommend Only Provence and Domaine des Sources to anyone who wanted to have the ultimate Provence experience. Everyone made the experience quite effortless.
Everyone gets 5 Gold Stars!
We had a fabulous time at Domaine de Sources! Kay and Aries were absolutely wonderful!!! 5 Stars for them! the children and parents loved Kay! Her visits to the house were a treat for us all! Every need was attended to! The housekeeping group was wonderful! very kind and did a great job! Aries went out of his way to be helpful! The house was great! We loved it!!! Would love to return some day!! 5 Stars all the way around!!
We we're extremely happy with our seven day experience at Domaine des Sources. There were 18 of us (three generations) and we believe that everybody had a wonderful time. We made good use of the tennis court and pool. The property was kept clean and neat. That was very much appreciated. We had a chef come one night to prepare a meal and we were very pleased with him and the food. The best part was the large al fresco dining table which we ate at every night. We have already recommended Only Provence to friends. We would give the property and Only Provence a five star rating.
The only complaint we got from our family was that they were responsible for taking care of the garbage. They thought that should be your responsibility.

Domaine des Sources is in the Gordes countryside 2 kilometers from the village within easy reach of the villages of the Lubéron so adored by travel writers, among them Ménerbes, Lacoste, Goult, Bonnieux and Roussillon. Beaumettes and Coustellet, small villages with a variety of shops, are less than ten minutes by car. The property is likewise well located for excursions beyond the Lubéron. Aix-en-Provence lies to the south, the Cotes du Rhone wine-producing region to the north, and the villages and restaurants of the Alpilles region to the southwest. The historic town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, once a center of the Provençal silk trade and now home to more than 200 antiques dealers and Provence's best-known open-air market, is a drive of less than 15 minutes, is the center outside Paris of antiques dealing.
Getting here:
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
