Q. Testimonial for Only Provence
R. Our group of nine stayed in Mas des Roses for a week to celebrate my 50th birthday. I could not have asked for a better experience. The rustic farmhouse villa itself is absolutely beautiful, and just as described, stylish luxury without pretense. The pool provided much need relief from the afternoon heat and its adjacent dining area was the perfect setting for dinner each evening. The villa and its grounds are very spacious with so many different areas, catering for both private quiet time as well as group fun.
Mas des Roses is ideally located. Its private countryside setting reassures that you will not bother anyone and similarly, not be bothered by others. There are countless idyllic Luberon villages to explore, all short drives from the villa. Mornings were spent at various farmers markets and wandering cobblestoned streets before retreating home in the heat of the day.
Only Provence were a pleasure to deal with. From afar when booking the villa, their communication was always clear and prompt and all of our specific needs were met. On arrival at the villa, we were warmly welcomed by the property manager, Sarah, who went out of her way to help us however she could.
If I am lucky enough to ever return to this beautiful part of the world, I would absolutely love to stay here again!

Q. What did you like about your experience?
R. Peaceful property that made us feel we were miles from all our cares.
We really loved our stay at Mas de Roses, the house and gardens are beautiful and the general Luberon area is stunning. We had a hard job dragging the children (and ourselves) away from the villa to explore the beautiful countryside as it was so idyllic at mas de Roses.
Areas for improvement:
We expected a change of towels, if not linen, at the mid week clean. Also, as we arrived quite late (with children) after a long day of travel it would have been great if we could have requested some basic groceries to be purchased on our behalf in advance so we had something for breakfast etc the next morning. Obviously would be willing to pay a slight premium for this service.
Also, the villa was really quite difficult to find, it would maybe be better to arrange to meet the host in one of the villages Gordes or Goult and follow them to the villa from the village?
Would definitely recommend Mas des Roses and Only Provence. The only tour we did was the truflles, which was great, but probably not so suitable for children.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Mas des Roses. The property was even more beautiful than it appeared in the photos on the website and far exceeded our expectations. The house was very comfortable for our group, we loved the pool and outdoor dining area, and the 6 year old in our party spent the week in the treehouse! Absolutely no complaints-5 stars.
Likewise for Only Provence-all communications were promptly replied to and none of our needs went unaddressed. I wouldn't hesitate to use your service again and recommend to others looking for accommodations. 5 stars.
The one service we used was for bike rental and to plan a cycling outing-Louise connected me with Hubert and Dan from. Likewise, 5 star service from everyone. Hubert was very helpful with bike provisioning and Dan coordinated a very special ride/Chateau picnic for our group.
An absolutely enchanting week spent in such a lovely part of the world-thank you!
We were absolutely thrilled with Mas des Roses -- so much so, that we hope to return to the same rental soon. The house and the setting were perfect. It was private and clean and so well appointed. We were also thrilled with the accessibility and helpfulness of your staff on the ground in Atlanta. Top notch ratings all around -- many thanks and we'll be in touch sooner rather than later!
OP made the reserving easy and the information good with people on the ball generally.
Requests easily and promptly dealt with and access to information.
For UK rentals a greater UK presence/contact helpful.
Flexibility on arrival time.
OP able to contact owners directly and revert. Also having this confirmed in writing as were all matters.
OP was proactive in contacting/reminding aspects to confirm, provide or process. So good customer care.
Problems were sorted relatively quickly.
Areas for improvement:
A link with car rental company would be good. Our experience at Avignon was not good, taking between 2 to 3 hours to sort at the airport for a pre-reserved car.
Directions of details closer to farmhouse could be a bit clearer as we did not find easily on the first time.
Would you recommend Mas des Roses, Only Provence to friends/ family and why/ why not?
Yes - property & OP.
Property type and facilities. Particularly it being a traditional farmhouse.
It being a family property with the range of activities including table tennis and football table.
The high quality of the furnishings and linen. Plus the thought of providing things such as the welcome pack the towels etc.
