Did the villa meet your expectation?
Better than what I expected, villa was just perfect and also the area around it - it was
such a shame it was so hot and no air con - then again I think air con in the villa would spoil the look
Were you able to find the property easily?
Yes, no issues, so helpful and accommodating when we arrived early...... and allowed us to stay on for an hour post check out due to pm flight....little things make such a difference.
Are you willing to share a testimonial with other potential renters?
Perfect location, perfect villa, all needs catered for. Communication excellent up to arrival and on day of leaving.
Mas des Roitelets is lovely - very private, quiet, in a sleepy hamlet and well located for visits around the area. The pictures on your site give a true indication of what the property is like, though perhaps it should be pointed out clearly that the house has no air conditioning at all.
Areas for improvement:
Would have been nice to have s small welcome pack (or option to choose to have one)
What star rating would you give Mas des Roitelets?

Mas des Roitelets is located in the old part of a hamlet which is sitting 4 km from the famous village of Gordes.
Standing on the edge of the plateau of Vaucluse, Gordes is one of the "in" villages of Luberon where many movies stars and artists have made their home.
Its houses of white and gray stone rise up in a spiral around the rock where the village is set. At the very top is the church and the castle which face out onto the hills of the Luberon.
Due to its privileged position, its exceptional charm and its typical architecture, Gordes has been listed as "one of the most beautiful villages of France".
While strolling around the tiny streets which climb up between the tall houses, you will discover here and there beautiful old doorways, arcades and walls of flat stone perfectly restored, and on the other side, there is the panorama of the valley and mountains of Luberon.
Once at the top of Gordes, you can see the fortified castle enclosing the city hall and the Pol Mara museum, (Flemish contemporary painter).
The odd village of the "borie" is intriguing. Bories are little round huts built in stone and were at one time used by shepherds or hunters.
But whatever you do, you must not miss the fabulous Abbey of Senanque hidden in the green valley. Cistercian manks still live there producing honey, lavender essence, and liqueurs. The whole twelfth century ediface is open for visits.
Gordes is without a doubt worth seeing. The village has a world wide reputation due to its famous inhabitants, and Peter Mayle 's book A Year in Provence certainly helped.
What to see:
The castle.
Bories village.
Senanque Abbey (1148).
St. Firmin church (1704).
Pol Mara museum.
The Moulins de Bouillons Museum (olive presses dating back to the 16th century).
Getting here:
The easiest way to get to Inland Provence from the US is to fly to Marseilles International Airport (MRS). If you would like to see Paris, fly to Charles de Gaulle Airport then connect directly to the TGV(high speed train) from CDG TGV2 to Avignon TGV(3 hours direct) and rent a car. You would plan to see Paris on the way back, taking the TGV from Avignon TGV to Gare de Lyon, getting a cab to your hotel in the city.
